North Carolina: The N.C. ACDIS Chapter summer conference takes place Friday, August 2, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at The Hawthorne Inn and Conference Center, in Winston Salem. The agenda includes:

  • Registration and continental breakfast
  • “Embracing Specificity: New Query Opportunities in ICD-10,” by Tonya Ellis Skeen, RN, MSN, Senior Healthcare Consultant, AHIMA Approved ICD-10 CM/PCS Trainer, J. A. Thomas & Associates

Indiana/Kentucky: Meets August, 16, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Baptist Health Louisville, Ky. The deadline to register is August 2. The agenda includes:

The committee reserved a block of rooms at the Breckinridge Inn for chapter members and guests at a special rate of $59/night. The hotel is approximately 1.2 miles from Baptist Health and has complimentary airport shuttle.
