News: Updated editions of ICD-10 and physician queries’ handbooks released; authors to sign copies in the exhibit hall

A number of new CDI materials will be available at the HCPro booth (unless noted) throughout the conference including the recently released The Clinical Documentation Improvement Guide to ICD-10, Second Editionand The Physician Queries Handbook, Second Edition.

Attendees can stop by to meet the authors of our CDI books, get a copy of signed, and chat with the authors about the content. Here is the schedule:

  • May 21, 2013: 10:15-10:45 AM: Dr. Richard Pinson and Cynthia Tang, co-authors of 2013 CDI Pocket Guide (at HCQ Booth #1209). 2:30-3:00 PM: Marion Kruse, author of Physician Queries Handbook, Second Edition.
  • May 22, 2013: 7:15-7:45 AM: Cheryl Ericson and Jennifer Avery, co-authors of The CDI Specialist’s Guide to ICD-10, Second Edition. 10:15-10:45 AM: Nancy Ignatowicz, author of the CDI Toolkit; Glenn Krauss, author of the Documentation Improvement Guide to Physician E/M. 2:30-3:00 PM: Fran Jurcak, author of the CCDS Exam Study Guide.
