ACDIS conducts a new poll of its members nearly every week. Members can submit their responses and check back periodically to see how their selection compares to others’ answers. Perhaps more interestingly, the savvy CDI manager may chose to look to these mini-polls to see where other programs have incorporated innovative ideas or determine whether such an idea is simply too advanced to pursue at the present. Recent polls include:

The ACDIS Forms & Tools Library offers a valuable resource to members by members. Nearly all the material compiled in the Library has been developed by CDI professionals working in the field and donated to ACDIS in support of others professionals attempting to implement CDI best practices. Last week the latest donation came from JoAnn Czech, RN, CDI specialist at St. Cloud (MN) Hospital who shared a PowerPoint presentation regarding Acute Renal Failure and Acute Kidney Injury including information regarding acute tubular necrosis, azotemia, renal (kidney) cortical necrosis, and renal papillary necrosis.

Frequently participants in local CDI networking groups will e-mail peers about a job opening at a nearby facility. If you have a position open, ACDIS members can visit the Job Posting Board and submit up to four openings per year per membership. If you are looking for a new position or have a position to fill this can be a great resource.

Lastly, ACDIS proudly announces the newest addition to its resouces, a new button on the left-side navigation bar called "CDI Marketplace" which will take members directly to our electronic store where you can look over our various books and audio conference offerings.
