In 2008, a total of 132 individuals completed ACDIS’ CDI specialists’ salary survey. In 2009, the number of responses doubled to 330. So far, 811 people have participated in the 2010 year-end survey. Although the survey closes soon there is still time for you to weigh in and offer your perspective on how CDI specialists are reimbursed for their efforts. As you know, your feedback is the most important tool ACDIS has. Your collective responses help illustrate common industry best practices regarding the roles and expectations of CDI programs and their staffs.

Human resources departments, staffing agencies, and healthcare administrators look to this annual data to determine how their staffing expectations fit with those of similar facilities nationwide. Please help provide accurate compensation data for this vital profession by completing the 2010 CDI Specialist’s Salary Benchmarking Survey by Friday, January 7, at 5 p.m. The results will be shared with ACDIS members in a special report later this month.
